KOZA-KZH-CR612 TIG Welding Robot Solution
A TIG (argon arc) welding robot solution built on the KOZA KOZA-KZH-CR612 industrial collaborative robot, with a KOZA TIG welding power source, torch and wire/gas feeding. It suits thin sheet and tube welding of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and aluminium alloys. DC pulse or AC/DC pulse power configurations can be selected according to the workpiece and output.

- Clean, good-looking TIG weld beads with minimal spatter, ideal for visible stainless steel and aluminium parts.
- DC TIG, AC TIG (AC/DC configuration) and pulse welding, with adjustable pulse parameters to control heat input and penetration.
- Continuously adjustable welding current, pre-flow, arc start, downslope, crater and post-flow; multiple welding programs can be stored and recalled.
- Collaborative robot arm: collaborative / high-speed dual mode, collision detection and hand-guided teaching for fast changeovers.
- Works with a rotary positioner for continuous circumferential and intersecting welds on tubes and pipe fittings.

On site: TIG welding of pipe fittings with a positioner
Stills from a KOZA TIG welding application video: the pipe fitting is clamped on a positioner fixture, and the robot works with the rotating positioner to TIG-weld the intersecting / circumferential seam between branch and main pipe, leaving an even weld bead.
Applications
Stainless steel pipe fittings and flanges, handrails, kitchen and sanitary stainless parts, aluminium frames, sheet-metal boxes and small pressure-vessel parts where weld appearance and quality matter.
